This artist interested me because of her use of repetition with polka dots. However, each one of her works is different due to her use of colors and media. I thought this artist was interesting because she does paintings and sculptures as well as installation art. What really interested me was that she uses people posing in her installation art. Another thing that interested me was her use of mirrors in her installation art. In both of the photos below, Kusama has placed mirrors on the walls of small rooms to make them appear infinite. At first glance, I thought that the rooms were very large. In reality, Kusama's strategic placements of the mirrors make her work seem much larger.
